More Romantic Short Films For Valentines Day
The last post on this subject proved to be so popular that I will be showing you a few more short films for Valentines day. Here at the Holiday Network we try our best to give the audience what they want as long as they do not request anything Twilight related. The first of the short films that I would like to offer today is for all of those kids who grew up watching the Power Rangers.
Yes, a romantic film with a Power Rangers theme. Love comes in all shapes sizes and costumes. I had a crush on a VR Trooper.
I have always thought that there is a fine line between stalking and romance. That person you are with now was at one time a distant and unattainable object of your affections. You probably thought that he or she was way out of your league and would be crazy to settle for someone like you. You were a stable boy who could only manage to say as you wish to the beautiful princess who was yelling at you or a lovely maid to your wicked stepsisters longing to go to the ball and meet prince charming. Maybe even you were a girl who was busy looking for her sister who had ran away from home after revealing her mutant powers and freezing your home town. While looking for her you fell in love with a block headed guy who talks to reindeer. Is that how it was? No, you were introduced by a friend?
Sequel time. This is the sequel to the movie that you have just watched.

There have been hundreds of romantic television series since the beginning ov broadcast tv. I could list them here, but for me and those at the Holiday Network there is one television series that towers over all of the others. It seemed that it set out to become the most romantic show ever and for those of us who watched it during its first run on television we would say that it achieved that goal.
The show is Beauty and The Beast. Do not confuse it with the sad and pale reboot on the CW network. The orginal starring Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman is one of a kind. The thing that has kept it from becoming an all time classic is that it ended poorly. the network that produced it wanted to continue the show without Linda Hamilton and decided for a reason that still boggles the mind to kill her character off rather than having the two characters walk off into the sunset together. A grand retelling of a fairy tale that missed out on a fairy tale ending. That said, the seasons that the leads were together are gold and I would like to share this as a Valentines gift to all the romantics out there.
We do not have broadcast rights to this show so I would suggest that fans of the show track it down online and invested in the complete series box set.

There is a brand new version of the story that has been shown in Europe, but has yet to reach the USA. This version looks stunning.
